Aubrey Black began his career as a stone mason in 1980. He installed stone, brick, or pavers for retainer walls, walkways, etc. During the mid to late 1980's, he installed industrial concrete slabs for truck stops. Mr. Black realized that there was a need for concrete that mimics the look of slate, brick, or stone. This would give a consumer the look of a paver with out all the bothersome shifting of the paver and expense. So, Mr. Black became a certified Increte Installer. As Mr. Black builds his decorative concrete business, another natural progression formed. The need for a durable, beautiful concrete fence that require little maintenance and at a price point below natural stone. Mr. Black opened Ol' South Fence, manufacturer and installer of SolidSet Fence Systems in late 2010. SolidSet Fence is a Pre-Cast concrete wall system.
